ARE BUOYANCY AIDS PROVIDED ?
Buoyancy aids are provided for all. We also have sizes to accommodate babies and small children.
CAN BOATS BE LANDED ASHORE?
Rowing boats, canoes and one of our motor boats can be landed on the shores of Ullswater however, the majority of our motor boats must remain 100 metres away from the shoreline at all times and so cannot be landed on the shore.
ARE DOGS PERMITTED ON THE BOATS ?
Yes, all well behaved dogs are welcome!
IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?
Yes, there is limited parking on site for the use of customers only. Please note that as parking is limited, parking is only available for the duration of your hire or whist using cafe facilities.
If car park is full, alternative parking can be found nearby in Jenkins field, Glenridding village centre, or at King George V playing field, Patterdale.
ARE THERE FACILITIES FOR PRIVATE LAUNCHING?
We may be able to facilitate the launching of private boats, however in busy periods this is often not possible. Please ring to check if this is possible.
